“This hotel stands out for its indigenous-inspired design and extensive spa, offering over 75 treatments, it seems; I appreciate that its pools are connected for year-round enjoyment. However, reports of inconsistent service and subpar room service raise concerns about value; location, near both gondolas and the village, is definitely a plus. Overall, it's a mixed bag where some aspects shine, and others need attention.”

There were some highlights during my stay, especially the cleanliness of the rooms and the close proximity to the slopes, which was fantastic for our skiing trip. However, the service was severely lacking, and dealing with room issues overshadowed our experience. Breakfast discrepancies left us frustrated, and the quality of food was disappointing, which detracted from the overall value.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and cozy, equipped with a kitchenette and a beautiful gas fireplace, adding a nice touch for comfort after a long day on the slopes.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the service was not up to par; I found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful during our arrival and when we encountered issues with our room.
Location
9.0
The location is an absolute bonus, being just a quick walk to the slopes, which made getting out in the morning with the kids so much easier.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was quite disappointing; there were unexpected charges for the kids despite having a family breakfast voucher, and the food quality did not meet our expectations.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered various amenities, but some facilities appeared neglected, affecting the overall impression.

7.8/10

I had a wonderful ski trip with my family at the Westin. The hotel staff, especially Kodi at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was nice although a bit cramped for our family of four, but the location at the base of the hill made skiing incredibly easy. The only downside was the dining, which did not meet the high standards set by the rest of our experience.

Rooms
7.0
The one-room suite was nice and well-appointed, though a bit cramped with the pullout couch for the kids.
Service
10.0
Kodi at the front desk was incredible, taking care of all our needs enthusiastically.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location right at the base of the hill was perfect for skiing; it made everything super convenient.
Dining

The food at the hotel was disappointing; breakfasts were just okay and dinner didn't live up to the local standards.
Facilities
8.0
The ski valet service was excellent, which really enhanced our skiing experience.

8.0/10

I had a delightful stay at this hotel, enjoying the clean and modern rooms with a lovely view of snow-covered trees. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable, and the location was convenient for accessing the slopes. However, the dining options could use some improvement, and the housekeeping was inconsistent throughout my stay.

Rooms
8.0
The room was well-equipped with a fireplace and kitchen amenities, providing a comfortable stay, though it would have been nice if the upgrade I anticipated had been honored.
Service
10.0
The service was top-notch, with staff even offering earphones for the treadmill and providing a treat for my anxious dog. They helped organize a surprise cake for me, which made my stay even more special.
Location
9.0
The hotel is superbly positioned with direct access to the slopes and the village, making it easy to explore the area, though the lack of a cozy lobby bar was a downside.
Dining
7.0
I had brunch at the hotel, which was quite enjoyable, but some items felt overpriced for what was offered.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but I noticed some areas, like the spa, could use some updating to match the luxury standard I expected.

This hotel offers a wonderful experience with beautiful rooms and incredibly friendly staff throughout. The location is superb, making it easy to explore Whistler without a car. However, I was disappointed with the size of the pool and the soft mattress in my room, which affected my comfort during the stay.

Rooms
7.0
The room was updated and well-furnished, though the patio door wasn't as clean as I'd hoped. The mattress was far too soft for my liking, and the balcony was quite cramped.
Service
10.0
The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurants.
Location
10.0
The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of trails, lakes, and the Olympic village, allowing for easy exploration of the area.
Dining

While the facilities were lovely, the indoor pool was smaller than expected and lacked space.

8.8/10

I recently booked a stay at the Westin Resort and Spa for some meetings with my team, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience overall. The room rates in Whistler were reasonable compared to downtown Vancouver, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. Our rooms were fantastic, and the service during our meetings was outstanding. However, I did have a frustrating experience regarding item retrieval that soured my impression a bit. Overall, a lovely venue for meetings with good value for money in a stunning location.
